Vittoria Shoes were started in 1978 by former professional racer Celestino Vercelli. Vercelli had ridden for some of the greatest teams of his era, including SCIC and Brooklyn. For generations Vercelli's family had made shoes, so his starting a cycling shoe company after retiring from racing was a natural. All of our Vittoria shoes were hand-made in the Vittoria shop in Biella, Italy.

Making Vittoria cycling shoes is a family business. Here Mrs. Vercelli, wife of founder Celestino, inspects and packs shoes.

Vittoria MSG shoes come two ways. We have noted cleat compatability on each posted pair:

• Compatible with 3-bolt Look cleats
• Compatible with 3-bolt Look, Shimano SPD & SPDR-style cleats

Vittoria MSG shoes have three velcro closures.

• The upper is nylon mesh & water-repellant synthetic leather
• Sole is nylon
• The injection-molded heel cup is padded
• Padded arch protector
• A size 41 shoe weighs only 290 grams
