58cm Trek 520 Touring complete bicycle. $1,000.00, used
58 cm seat tube x 58cm top tube.
Before moving on to the bike's component specs, here's what bicycletouringpro.com had to say about the Trek 520 Touring:
"The Trek 520 caters to the touring bike scene with its chromoly steel frame that offers the perfect mix of flexibility, comfort and durability needed for long-distance bicycle touring. The stretched out geometry is just right for staying comfortable on the bike and at the same time allows you to get in a good aerodynamic stance for optimal speed. The 520 is perfect for long-distance bicycle tours or for the daily commute. Its classic touring geometry has stood the test of time and is considered a cult classic by many."
Our frameset is built with True Temper OX. The component kit is based on the Shimano Deore 21-speed group. It has RX100 aero brake levers and fingertip shifters. There are braze-ons for three bottle cages. It comes with alloy pedals with toe clips and straps. If you want clipless pedals, let us know. We have 'em.
The wheels are Matrix Journey heat-treated 36-hole rims mounted with Panaracer Pasela Tour Guard Kevlar 700 x 32 tires.
The saddle is a Terry Liberator.

About dropout savers:
Here's the short story on what a dropout saver is and how it works: The Dropout Saver system is an alternative to replacing badly bent or damaged derailleur dropouts. Rather than replacing the damaged dropout completely, simply drill out the damaged threads and install a Dropout Saver and realign the dropout. A deeper explanation is here.

Trek's most famous rider was Lance Armstrong, who initially won an incredible seven consecutive Tours de France.
On Oct. 22, 2012, Armstrong was formally stripped of his seven Tour de France victories and received a lifetime ban from Olympic sports after the International Cycling Union chose not to appeal doping charges against Armstrong by the United States Anti-Doping Agency.
Here's some Armstrong memorabilia from before his cheating was revealed.
