Note: This frame is sold: Ugo De Rosa is one of the most renowned and respected framebuilders in the history of cycling.

He opened his famous shop in the early 1950s, but by the late 1950s his reputation had grown such that began building custom frames for top pros, though they would be painted in the colors of the team's bike suppliers. Notably Raphael Géminiani (second in the 1951 Tour de France and later racing director of the famous Jacques Anquetil) was an early top pro who used De Rosa's frames. Later others, most notably Eddy Merckx, had Signor De Rosa build their bikes. To this day, some of the world's greatest riders use bikes from the De Rosa shop.
